TICKETS TO WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden, is sponsoring individuals & families from each of the six counties served by the Diocese of Camden to attend the World Meeting of Families’ four-day theological Congress in September.

Catholic Charities is accepting applications from interested individuals and families who could benefit from the meeting, but find the cost prohibitive.

Deadline for submission is 7/31.
*** Please note: These tickets are NOT tickets to see Pope Francis or attend papal events. The Pope will not be in attendance at the Theological Congress. ***

The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic association of Catholic
men and women who have formed themselves into a body to be of service to the Church. Founded in Ireland in 1921, it now serves in more than 170 countries throughout the world.
Our Lady of Sorrows Praesidium (this is what a parish Legion of Mary group is known as) meets each Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Church Hall, Annex.

Bingo is held in the Hall Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m.

We are in need of a new bingo machine in order to continue having Bingo every Friday night. Bingo brings in proximately $50,000 per year, which helps with our building and operating costs. Donations can be made by separate envelope in the weekly collection or by mailing to the parish Office.
Please mark it “Bingo Machine”. Thank you!

If you could volunteer just one Friday night a month, it would greatly help us. Bingo generates much needed revenue for our Church expenses. Your participation will be greatly appreciated. There will be a warm welcome for
you. Just show up at 6 p.m. and you will be shown where your help is needed.

Upcoming weekday and weekend Masses are available for your intentions.
In keeping everyone safe with no contact, we are following a new procedure for obtaining Mass cards.

You can call the Parish Office at 609-927-1154 and we will let you know what Masses are available.
Give us the name of your loved one and where you would like us to mail the Mass card (either to yourself or the family it is intended for.)
Mail in your $15 donation with a note referring to the Mass you have requested.
Once we receive your donation we will mail out the Mass card.

We have 14 candle stands to fill and our candle revenue has seemed to decline. We observe people lighting candles but not making a donation to help pay for the candles, globes and tappers. Your donation per candle helps cover the cost of each votive candle or large candle and the sticks to light them. Your donation will help us to continue to have “real” candles to light. The same is true for our kiosk in the back of church with books, booklets and CD’s. In order to keep it filled with the newest items, we need your support. We only ask for $3 per CD or booklet and $15 per book. We want to continue to make these resources available for your spiritual enrichment but need your support.
