We are the family of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, a community of individuals  united by the love of Christ.
We reach out to all through prayer, spiritual formation, liturgical offerings, education, a welcoming spirit and service.

REGISTRATION FOR NEW PARISHIONERS:

Please call or stop into the Parish Office to fill out a registration form. We would appreciate notification if you move or change your registration at anytime.
PARISH MEMBERSHIP:
A parishioner is one who belongs to the Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Community. As such, are committed to worship and participate spiritually, socially and financially in the life of the Parish. Adults over the age of 21 should register independently from your parent’s registration.

BAPTISMS:
Baptisms are held on the second Sunday of the month at 12:15 p.m.
Baptismal Preparation Class is held on the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Church.
Please contact the Parish Office to register.

MARRIAGES:
The Common Policy for all the Dioceses of New Jersey requires a period of preparation for the Sacrament of Matrimony. Arrangements should be made one year in advance. Please call the Parish Office to schedule your appointment with the Parish priest, before any social plans are finalized.

PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK:
Arrangements for Communion Calls to the sick at home can be made by calling the Parish Office. Please notify the Parish Office when a parishioner is in the hospital.

Religious Education

Congratulations to our 6th and 7th grade students who
completed the Summer Religious Education Program
from June 21st through July 1st from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
By attending this program they have met the requirements for the Religious Education 2016-2017 year.
We want to thank their catechists
Mrs. Dunn, Mrs. Alverson, Mrs. Falk, Erica Stuchel and our office worker, Mary Doherty. We look
forward to seeing you in the fall for the Faith Formation Programs offered monthly.

Join the Our Lady of Sorrows Youth Choir!

Homebound Holy Communion


Our Lady of Sorrows’ Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are readily available to bring Communion to the homes of the sick. If you or someone that you know is a shut-in and would like to receive Communion, please let us know by contacting the Parish Office at 927-1154.
